This is what an Asker album would have sounded like.
In these twelve demos you will hear two years of writing. Between early 2012 and late 2013, we compiled close to 50 sketches, demos, and noodlings, in an effort to eventually record a full length album.
Then, in early 2014, we disbanded. Why? Because it was time to move on and start something new. Also, we hit a lot of legal issues with our name. So, we can't sell music, perform, or use ASKER as of April 2014. Which was a drag, but it's for the best. These are the demos we recorded for a full-length record that was intended to come out in January 2014, but we never even entered a studio for it.
In these songs, you'll find the good, the bad, the downright terrible, and the "what were they thinking" moments. It was a messy process and we were reclusive for over a year, but these need to see the light. Because why the heck not? Enjoy some rough takes, some rougher takes, and some decent takes. We recorded these all at Jack's house, usually late at night in the middle of the summer. Then we swam in his grandpa's pool.
